7 Best Fiscal.ai Alternatives

Fiscal.ai is one of our favorite research tools. Here is when it is the wrong fit, and what to use instead.

Disclosure: Stock Simplifier is built on Fiscal.ai data, which we pay for, and we earn a commission if you sign up through our links. We also make Stock Simplifier, which is ranked first below, so weigh this list accordingly. Full disclosure.

The best Fiscal.ai alternatives are Stock Simplifier for guided analysis built on Fiscal.ai's own data, TIKR for cheaper global fundamentals, Koyfin for dashboards and a mobile app, Seeking Alpha for opinions and quant ratings, Morningstar for analyst fair values, GuruFocus for value investing and spreadsheet add-ins, and Stock Rover for deep screening.

A word before the list. Fiscal.ai (formerly FinChat) is our second-favorite research tool, after Stock Simplifier, and it is the data provider we chose to power Stock Simplifier. We rate it 5 out of 5. If it fits how you invest, stay with it (try Fiscal.ai here, sponsored link). This page is for the investors it does not fit.

Why people look for a Fiscal.ai alternative

Fiscal.ai is excellent at what it does. The people who go looking for something else usually want one of these.

What to look for in an alternative

Get clear on which of these you actually want first. They are genuinely different categories, and the best product in one is useless if you needed another.

The 7 best Fiscal.ai alternatives

1

Stock Simplifier

Best for: Investors who want Fiscal.ai data turned into a guided analysis they score themselves

Pricing (Sept 2026): Free plan, no card. Paid from $19.99/mo or $199/yr

A guided research wizard that walks you through business model, lifecycle phase, moat, management, growth, risk and valuation, pulling real Fiscal.ai data at every step. It runs on the same data, then adds the framework and a written analysis in plain language. You score each part and reach the conclusion.

Where it shines. You get the benefit of Fiscal.ai-quality financials without needing to know what to do with them, at well under half the price of Fiscal.ai Max. The free plan covers 10,000+ global stocks with 5 years of financials and needs no card, and the analysis adjusts to each company's phase.

Where it falls short. It covers 10,000+ stocks across the US, Canada and Europe, far fewer than Fiscal.ai. There are no earnings call transcripts, fund letters or long KPI histories, and it will not hand you a stock pick.

TIKR

Best for: Global fundamentals at a lower price

Pricing (Sept 2026): Free tier, $215.40/yr Plus, $455.40/yr Pro, $959.40/yr Ultimate

An institutional-style data terminal built on S&P Capital IQ data, covering 100,000+ stocks worldwide with financials, consensus estimates, transcripts, fund holdings and a quick valuation model builder.

Where it shines. Plus costs about $215 a year, less than half of Fiscal.ai Pro, and the free US plan needs no card. Paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Ultimate carries 30 years of financials.

Where it falls short. There is no native mobile app, the deepest history and transcripts climb to the Pro and Ultimate plans, and like Fiscal.ai it leaves every judgement to you.

3

Koyfin

Best for: Dashboards, charting, macro data and a real mobile app

Pricing (Sept 2026): Free tier, then $39/mo Plus or $79/mo Premium billed yearly ($49 or $110 monthly)

A professional-style terminal for charting, dashboards and market data, with S&P Capital IQ fundamentals and estimates, Morningstar fund data and macro dashboards covering bonds, currencies and commodities.

Where it shines. The headline prices match Fiscal.ai Pro and Max, but you also get iOS and Android apps, price, technical, valuation and filing alerts, and a 30-day full-refund guarantee.

Where it falls short. Segment and KPI data is still listed as planned on Koyfin's public feature request board, so it cannot match Fiscal.ai for company-specific KPIs. It makes no judgement on whether a company is worth owning.

4

Seeking Alpha

Best for: Human opinions, quant ratings and a built-in AI assistant

Pricing (Sept 2026): Free Basic; Premium $299/yr; Pro $2,400/yr

A huge library of contributor analysis on thousands of stocks, with Quant Ratings and factor grades, an AI assistant, screeners and news. The free Basic account includes live prices, portfolios and price alerts.

Where it shines. If you want someone to argue the bull and bear case, this is the biggest room of opinions available, and the quant grades give you a quick second view. Premium costs less per year than Fiscal.ai Pro, and there are iOS and Android apps.

Where it falls short. Author quality varies widely. The data depth is far below Fiscal.ai, fees are non-refundable once billing starts, and the $4.95 first month of Premium renews at the full price.

5

Morningstar

Best for: Independent analyst fair values and moat ratings

Pricing (Sept 2026): $249/yr or $34.95/mo

Morningstar Investor bundles analyst fair value estimates, moat, uncertainty and star ratings on 1,500+ covered companies, quant ratings beyond that, and excellent fund and portfolio tools.

Where it shines. A consistent, published rating framework from human analysts, a 7-day free trial, an iOS app, and fund research few tools can match.

Where it falls short. Fiscal.ai Pro and Max already include Morningstar equity research reports, so check whether that covers what you want before paying twice. Prepaid subscriptions are non-refundable, and the fair value rests on the analyst's assumptions.

6

GuruFocus

Best for: Value investors who want 30-year histories, guru tracking and spreadsheet add-ins

Pricing (Sept 2026): Premium from $369/yr per region ($549 for USA); Premium Plus $1,398/yr

A deep value-investing toolkit with 30 years of financials, GF Value and GF Score, warning signs, an All-in-One Screener with backtests, and detailed tracking of what famous investors buy and sell.

Where it shines. It has an Excel add-in and a Google Sheets add-on, which Fiscal.ai does not, plus iOS and Android apps and global coverage priced by region. Guru tracking is best in class.

Where it falls short. It is expensive once you add regions, subscriptions are non-refundable once billed, the free trial is available once every 24 months, and the interface is dense.

7

Stock Rover

Best for: Deep screening and portfolio analytics on North American stocks

Pricing (Sept 2026): Free, then $348, $588, $948 or $1,788/yr

A screening and portfolio analytics platform with 700+ metrics on Premium Plus, equation screens, fair value estimates and research reports, using Morningstar data and real-time pricing from IEX.

Where it shines. The deepest screener in this list, strong portfolio analytics with brokerage integration, and a 14-day trial with no credit card that drops back to the free plan when it ends.

Where it falls short. Coverage is limited to US and Canadian stocks plus the OTC boards, there are no refunds once you pay, and the interface takes time to learn.
